The Central Michigan University football program has one missing piece to an outstanding 2009 recruiting class. That missing piece is a quarterback and this weekend, standout Michigan high school quarterback A.J. Westendorp is visiting CMU. He talked about his expectations of that visit with Chippewas Insider.

Quarterback A.J. Westendorp had a dream season this year in leading Holland (Mich.) Christian High School to a state championship. The muscular 6-foot-2, 210-pound signal-caller compiled record-setting numbers in the air (completed 226 of 325 passes for 3,600 yards and 40 touchdowns) and on the ground (rushed 176 times for 1,251 yards and 25 TDs) in leading the Maroons to an undefeated season.
