CMU Motor City Bowl Tickets Top 10,000

MOUNT PLEASANT - Central Michigan University's Athletic Ticket Office has sold more than 10,000 tickets for the Motor City Bowl on Dec. 26. A limited number of tickets remain available through the CMU Athletic Ticket Office for the Chippewas' matchup with Purdue at Ford Field in Detroit.

“We are extremely pleased with the show of support we have received from our fans,” said CMU Director of Athletics Dave Heeke. “The Motor City Bowl was an exciting experience for our fans and our team last season and we are looking forward to another great bowl experience this year.”

Motor City Bowl tickets can be purchased online at cmuchippewas.com or by calling 1-888-FIRE-UP2 (1-888-347-3872).

Purchasing tickets through Central Michigan University is the strongest way fans can show their support for the Chippewas during the bowl season:

- Purchasing tickets through CMU is the only way for fans to ensure their seats will be on the Chippewas’ sideline. CMU is offering exclusive ticket prices of $40 for sideline tickets and $55 for club tickets, both of which are a $5 savings from the published ticket price.

- Those fans not planning to attend the game are encouraged to purchase tickets and donate them back to CMU. The tickets then will be distributed to Motor City Bowl charity groups designed to provide inner-city children an opportunity to attend the bowl game.

- Revenue generated from tickets purchased through CMU provides direct support for the football program and Marching Chippewas in paying for the bowl experience.
