MOUNT PLEASANT - Central Michigan University sophomore quarterback Dan LeFevour has been named USA Today's National Player of the Week.

Dan LeFevour garnered 56 percent of the online fan vote and was selected by one of the two USA Today staff members who vote on the award.

LeFevour completed 30-of-39 passes for 251 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 100 yards and a career-high four scores in CMU's 47-23 win over Army on Saturday. He became the school's all-time leader in touchdown passes in the win. On Monday, he was named Mid-American Conference West Division Offensive Player of the Week for the second consecutive week.

In the last two games combined, LeFevour has completed 60-of-77 passes (77.9 percent) for 611 yards and seven touchdowns, and rushed 30 times for 246 yards (8.2 yards per carry) and five scores.

Central Michigan plays its first of three straight games on the road this weekend, visiting Clemson. ESPNU will televise the contest, set to kick off at noon.
