California Defensive Tackle Commits to CMU

The Central Michigan football program continued its recruiting success with the verbal commitment of a California defensive tackle.

Chippewas Insider has learned that defensive tackle Dorian Dawson of Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco High School has verbally committed to Central Michigan University.

A 6-foot-1, 245-pounder, Dawson chose CMU over an offer from Miami University and recruiitng interest from several other Football Bowl Subdivision schools.

Dawson becomes the 21st known commitment in the Chippewas' 2011 recruiting class.
